Deals: the Google Pixel 11 series is now on pre-order with gift cards and trade-in bonuses – GSMArena.com news

Google has officially opened pre-orders for the Pixel 11 series, introducing a diverse lineup that includes a standard model, two Pro versions, and a refined foldable. Those looking to upgrade before the official August 20 release date can take advantage of several incentives through Amazon, including gift cards and additional trade-in bonuses depending on the specific model chosen. For those who prefer hardware over credit, Google is offering the choice of a free Pixel Watch 5 instead of a gift card, with an option to pay a small fee to upgrade to the larger 45mm version of the wearable.

Under the hood, every phone in the series runs on the new Tensor G6 chipset, though memory configurations have shifted due to rising RAM costs. While all models now start with a generous 256GB of storage, users seeking 16GB of RAM on the Pro or Pro XL must opt for higher storage tiers. The base Pixel 11 receives a significant camera boost with a larger main sensor compared to its predecessor, along with faster magnetic wireless charging. Meanwhile, the Pro models introduce HiLight RGB LEDs on the rear that function both as notification lights and interfaces for Gemini AI.

The high end of the range is anchored by the Pixel 11 Pro XL, which pairs a massive screen with slightly improved wired charging speeds. On the other hand, Google has focused heavily on ergonomics for its newest foldable. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is noticeably slimmer and lighter than previous iterations, although this design change resulted in a slight dip in battery capacity. To compensate for the thinner profile, Google integrated the superior main camera sensor from the vanilla Pixel 11 into the foldable’s chassis.

While enthusiasts wait for an affordable A-series counterpart to arrive in a few months, these premium devices enter a crowded market where they face stiff competition from Samsung’s latest foldables. Despite some compromises in thickness and battery life when compared to rivals like the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Google’s combination of updated sensors and deep AI integration aims to keep them competitive during this launch window.
